What is the 3-2-1 rule?
Keep at least 3 copies of your data, on 2 types of media, with at least 1 copy off-site. We get as close to this as your budget allows, for example a NAS on-site plus a copy at another site, and can make backups immutable when the storage supports it.

FAQ
Do we need a new NAS?
You can reuse an existing NAS if it has enough capacity and speed, or pick a new one from our Storage page.
Does Veeam need a license?
Most business setups need a license based on the number of VMs or servers protected; a free edition covers small environments. We help you work out which applies.
How long does the first backup take?
The first full backup takes longest; after that only changes are copied, which is much faster.
